Anne Gaydos / Director of Brand Development - Anne is a freelance art director and graphic designer with over 20 years of experience in a wide variety of industries and clients including Pepsi, Random House Children's Books, Annie's, Inc., and Cumulus Media. She also serves as a political campaign consultant to many municipal and state candidates, providing creative services including print, web design and social media. Anne is also an active volunteer in her community, serving as a Parks and Recreation commissioner, and a member of the public school's Strategic Plan Committee. 

Karen Connell Hess / Director of Public Relations and Media - Karen is a public relations professional with two decades of experience in political, business and non-profit communications.  In addition to advising numerous local, state and federal political candidates over the last ten years, she has devoted her time to a number of charitable organizations focused on increasing educational opportunity.  Karen also serves as the President of the David and Geri Epstein Private Foundation, which provides grants for education, medical research and animal rescue organizations.

Megan Holland / Director of Research and Outreach / Associate Producer - The Elephant Times Podcast - Megan is a lifelong animal lover who has experience with nonprofit, policy, and campaign work advocating for their welfare. At both the state and federal level, Megan has worked on a wide variety of animal welfare issues, including wildlife conservation. A graduate of Michigan State University, she served as the Program Coordinator for the Humane Society Legislative Fund.

Jim Treece / Associate General Counsel - Jim grew up on a family farm in Southeast Missouri and has a passion for nature conservation, particularly forestry.  He began his legal career at the wall street firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy where he represented commercial banks, hedge funds, and private equity firm in large corporate reorganizations and restructurings.  He spent the bulk of his career as a commercial litigator at Epstein, Becker & Green in New York City defending Fortune 500 companies, investment banks, and health care institutions in a wide range of lawsuits.  Jim is presently Of Counsel at the Ketcher Law Firm in St. Louis where he represents private sector clients collaborating with government entities in public-private endeavors.  Jim is a graduate of Carleton College and the Fordham University School of Law. 

Micheas Atkilt / Research Intern - Micheas is a Virginia native, and a recent graduate of George Mason University where he received a BS in Criminology, Law and Society, with a minor in Intelligence Analysis.
